I composed this trance piece mainly so I could say I can compose trance. I've always wanted to create somehting like this. Upon downloading this composition, you will hear a huge bright sound and an addictive beat... I learned a lot about creating electronic music through this composition and I can't wait to put this knowledge to use in future electronic music. The image you see on the left is my attempt at art. I was originally going to name this composition "Big Trance," but upon finishing the artwork, the name "Starburst" came to me.

Captures the feeling of a great and difficult space adventure, exploring new worlds frought with battles and near-death experiences, finally going home tired, but victorious. Spartichi from deviantART was very generous and created the art based on the inspiration she had from listening to the music. At a glance it looks like a standard space scene, but there is a figure of a woman with wings delicately ingrained into the home planet.

Music composed by Elan Hickler. Amaranthus comes from the greek word 'amarantos' which means 'one that never withers.' Film Director Ted Allen had to create a still frame short for a contest in which the project must incorporate sound and music. Four sounds were downloaded from http://freesound.iua.upf.edu - female giggle by Hell's Sound Guy, crystal glass by Reinsamba, hearbeat by Herbert Boland, man scream by Malexmedia. All other sounds recorded and manipulated by Elan Hickler.
